When it comes to gardening, we know our stuff, and that’s why our team of talented and creative individuals call ourselves “Garden Craftsmen”—— because we provide customers throughout the Knoxville, Loudon, and Blount county area with craftsmanship that reflects our horticulture knowledge and experience.
Since 2006, the staff at My Personal Gardener Inc. has constantly strived to learn more about the various fields of horticulture.

Mark Sharp created My Personal Gardener Inc. in March of 2006, and became a certified arborist in 2008. He specializes in proper tree and shrub pruning, pre/post construction consulting, and turf renovation.
In his free time, Mark and his wife enjoy caring for their dogs and going on roadtrips in their camper in the great outdoors.
Stan Sharp has been with the company since September 2010 but has been involved in the landscaping industry since 2001. He is a certified pesticide applicator by the Tennessee Department of Ag. Stan also has a Landscape and Garden Design Certification through the University of Tennessee.
Stan enjoys organic vegetable gardening, playing music, being an uncle, and traveling with his wife, McKenzie.
Morgan Carr is the youngest of the Sharp family. She joined the company in December 2010 but has been working for various landscape related occupations since 2001. Morgan graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with degrees in Landscape Design and Construction and forestry. Morgan is licensed in pesticide application for turf and ornamentals by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture.
Morgan enjoys hiking, traveling, entertaining friends and family, and raising her three children, Anna, Joseph and Caleb alongside her husband Matthew.
Alex Crateau joined MPG in January of 2021, but started working in the landscape industry in 2019. Alex earned an Associate of Science degree from Pellissippi State in 2018. Alex worked hard to broaden his knowledge in the industry by completing the Blount County Master Gardener courses.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys fly fishing, playing music, and spending time with friends and family.
Samantha Ellis started with MPG in early summer of 2022. She interned at the UT Knoxville Botanical gardens in 2014, and graduated with a degree in Horticulture Science and Production in 2015. She’s primarily worked in the horticulture production industry, and has extensive knowledge on plant health, care, and maintenance.
In her free time, Samantha loves kayaking, camping and backpacking, seeing live music, and spending time with friends. She and her partner, Devin, have several pets they adore and care for.
Devin Anderson, originally from Memphis Tennessee, started with MPG in early summer 2022. He graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville with a BS in Biology and Microbiology. Devin’s experience in the industry includes 5 years in gardening and Landscaping, and 2.5 years in nursery production.
In his free time, Devin enjoys backpacking, kayaking, hiking, personal gardening, bonsai, and homebrewing. In the future he hopes to become a Master Gardener and start a plant nursery.
